What the Carriage House in Port Hawkesbury lacked in regular armwrestlers made up in local muscle showing up. An enthusiastic crowd cheered the locals on as they battled for top honours.

Gary MacDonald of Queensville was a double winner taking both the right and left hand divisions in Amateur Heavyweight. Mark MacPhail was a triple winner on the day. Mark scored victories in both the Elite 1 right and left categories and then won the Strong Hand Hold event with an impressive time of 1 minute 25.14 seconds.
